Drop Out Switch
The drop out type fuse is an overcurrent protector, which is mainly composed of melt, fuse tube, and external fillers. When used, the drop out type fuse needs to be connected in series in the circuit to be protected. When the current of the protected circuit exceeds the specified value and after a certain period of time, the heat generated by the melt itself fuses the melt and disconnects the circuit, thus playing a protective role.

Drop out fuses are widely used in high and low voltage power distribution systems and control systems as well as electrical equipment. As short circuit and overcurrent protectors, they are one of the most commonly used protection devices. The drop out fuse element has inverse delay characteristics, that is, when the overload current is small, the fusing time is long; when the overload current is large, the fusing time is short.
