This elegant Table Topper is made with square motifs that are joined with the join-as-you-go technique. The possibilities are endless with this design. Join 4 motifs together and you have a coaster. Join several more together for a placemat or table runner. If you are adventurous you could make a table cloth or even a bedspread with this pattern.
Lace is worked in crochet cotton thread and a steel crochet hook.

Crochet Hook: Steel No. 7 (1.650 mm).

JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

Shell: (4 dc, ch 2, 4 dc) in same st or sp indicated.
