Ceramika, raku - Pottery by Mitchell Grafton

Grafton Pottery - Dead Cat Whiskey Jug -
Back in the late 1930's there was an old moonshiner in Southern Alabama named JD Tucker. Legend has it that he made some of the worst tasting whiskey in the south. Locals use to call it Dead Cat Whiskey because of the bad smell and taste, but it also had the unique quality of causing those who drank it to forget just how bad it tasted so they would always come back for more. Sadly, the recipe for this whiskey died with the man who discovered it. This jug was made in his honor. | Facebook
